Sherwood Estate Wines have been producing exceptional wines from our Waipara Valley vineyards in North Canterbury since 1987. In our 30-year history we have grown from a ‘one-manband’ to a multi-million dollar player in the New Zealand wine industry. We are now one of the largest independent, family owned wineries in New Zealand. Jill and Dayne Sherwood still proudly manage all aspects of production. They retain complete control over the entire commercial process and can honestly say, “we do it all”. At Sherwood Estate Wines we grow, harvest, make, bottle, distribute, market and sell our wine throughout New Zealand, Australia and internationally. This process makes us relatively unique in the New Zealand wine industry and we are proud of the personal involvement this brings to all aspects of the business
