The company was founded in 1964. Located in Manduria in the province of Taranto, Apulia. The Primitivo di Manduria is the result of environmental and climatic conditions as well as a land with certain characteristics that make it unique. Since ancient times the remotest Manduria and its territory have been privileged sites of human settlements. Manduria was among the most interesting and powerful cities of the Dodecapoli messapica. From this period still retains outstanding monuments such as the megalithic walls and numerous tombs which, together with the source of Pliny and the Church of San Pietro Mandurino, constitute the Archaeological Park, a must for the cultured traveler and scholar since the 19th century.
